Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Uganda

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where our guide will warmly welcome you. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.

Day 2: Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, drive north via Luwero to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest park, famous for its thundering waterfall and abundant wildlife.

Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Cruise – Murchison Falls

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the northern savannah plains to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, followed by a short hike to the top.

Day 4: Murchison – Kibale Forest National Park

Depart after breakfast for Kibale Forest, home to the highest density of chimpanzees in Africa. Enjoy scenic views of tea plantations and crater lakes along the way.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk

Go for an exciting chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale Forest. In the afternoon, take a guided Bigodi Wetland walk, rich in birdlife and local community experiences.

Day 6: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and scenic landscapes. En route, enjoy views of the Rwenzori Mountains.

Day 7: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Embark on a morning game drive in Kasenyi Plains to spot lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and more. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway teeming with hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 8: Ishasha Sector – Tree-Climbing Lions

Drive to the southern Ishasha sector, home to the famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi Forest

A lifetime adventure! After an early briefing, trek through Bwindi’s dense forest to find the endangered mountain gorillas. Spend an hour observing and photographing them in their natural habitat.

Day 10: Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s second deepest lake, surrounded by terraced hills. Enjoy canoeing, bird watching, or a relaxing evening by the lakeshore.

Day 11: Lake Bunyonyi – Cross to Rwanda (Volcanoes National Park)

Drive across the Cyanika border into Rwanda and head to Volcanoes National Park, home to Rwanda’s mountain gorillas and golden monkeys.

Day 12: Golden Monkey Tracking – Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village

Day 13: Volcanoes – Lake Kivu (Gisenyi)

Day 14: Lake Kivu – Nyungwe Forest National Park

Day 16: Nyungwe – Kigali City
