In Kibale Forest National Park, we try to spot and identify some of the 12 species of primates that inhabit the area and when we enter Queen Elizabeth National Park, we can marvel at sterling views of the famous ‘Mountains of the Moon’ as we make our way through a diverse range of ecosystems.
Our expedition to catch sight of mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest continued on as we cross into Rwanda, where we visit the Parc National des Volcans, where the late Dian Fossey undertook her monumental conservation efforts.
